News from San Lorenzo Valley High School Cougar Alumni
Tyler Gilbert
2012 SLV Alum Tyler Gilbert signed with USC after playing for Santa Barbara City College in 2013. He'll play for the Trojans 2014-2015 baseball season. Gilbert describes the signing as "pretty overwhelming. I wanted it so bad, so I worked hard for this".
His last season at Santa Barbara City College, he went 9-2 with 2.42 ERA in 85 innings as a freshman.
Gilbert has 4 pitches - 2 seam & 4 seam fastball, curveball, & split changeup. He throws 83 to 90 mph.

Adam Carr

Adam Carr, SLV 2002, has returned to the valley to help coach the 2014 team after a career with the Washington Nationals organization.
San Lorenzo Valley High School Hall of Fame
The San Lorenzo Valley High School Hall of Fame recognizes individuals from SLV who have given of their time, ability, effort, and commitment to sports while attending, coaching or supporting the high school. The Hall of Fame is sponsored by the San Lorenzo High School Athletic Boosters and the Alumni Organization.
